British BattenBerg Cake
For this delicious cake, I used lemon cake and chocolate cake.

I have to say these 2 flavours combined is an absolute bliss!
As you can see, I covered it with Butter Cream & Almond paste ( I bought it from a store I did not make it myself haha).
For the butter cream I have a very quick recipe, I actually use it for all my frosting; cakes and cupcakes.
I'm working on doing basic recipes, and I will be sharing all the basic recipes in there.
For now, here are the Ingredient for the butter cream:
350 g of Butter
400g of Icing Sugar
1 Tbsp of Heavy cream
1 Tsp of Vanilla essence
Mix the butter with the hand mixing for about 5 minutes.
Slowly add the sugar and keep mixing.
Add the heavy cream and the vanilla and mix for an additional of 3 minutes
Now it's up to you to decorate it and cut it.
Mine was not even, but it was super delicious! That's what matters right?
Enjoy it with a nice cup of coffee, or maybe an English Tea, and that why you'll get yourself all the way to London!
