Danish Butter Cookies

Danish Butter Cookies  


I finally succeeded making Danish cookies! Right on time for the holiday season!

I have tried few online recipes but they were all failed, boo

So I have just used my usual butter cookie recipe and added 1 egg yolk.

It was a success! Yayy :lol::lol:

 

Ingredients:

1 cup of butter (room temperature)

1 1/2 cup of powdered sugar

1 egg yolk

1 tsp of vanilla extract

2 cups of flour (sifted)

                


 How to?

With a hand mixer, beat the butter, sugar and vanilla for 5 minutes

Add the egg yolk and beat for 1 more minute

Add in the sifted flour and beat until its all creamy

Pour in the pastry in a piping bag and start piping  

Bake in a preheated 170°C oven, for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Butter Cookies 


Are you a cookie lover?

If you are I hope you find this recipe helpful. I personally use this recipe and amend it with each occasion.

I make Jam cookies, chocolate cookies, Earl grey cookies..

These butter cookies are so delicious and so easy to make. 

So here is the recipe for these mouth watering Sablé!


Ingredients: 

1 cup of butter 

1/2 cup of icing sugar 

1 pinch of salt 

2 1/2 cup of flour ( you might need more, depending on your flour type) 

-Optional: to add flavour you can use :   1 tsp of vanilla essence 

or 1 bag of Earl Grey Tea or any other herbs you would like to add 


Method:

With a hand mixer, blend the butter, sugar, salt for about 5 minutes 

Add the flavour and mix for half a minute

Add the flour and mix for an additonal 2 to 3 minutes.

Let it cool in the fridge for 1 hour and then spread it on your pre floured kitchen counter with a rolling pin.

TIP: you can use 2 baking sheets

Bake in 180°C oven for about 10 to 15minutes.

You can decorate it with jam or chocolate.

For this delicious cake, I used lemon cake and chocolate cake.

I have to say these 2 flavours combined is an absolute bliss! 

As you can see, I covered it with Butter Cream & Almond paste ( I bought it from a store I did not make it myself haha)

For the butter cream I have a very quick recipe, I actually use it for all my frosting; cakes and cupcakes. 
I'm working on doing basic recipes, and I will be sharing all the basic recipes in there. 

For now, here are the Ingredient for the butter cream: 

350 g of Butter 

400g of Icing Sugar 

1 Tbsp of Heavy cream 

1 Tsp of Vanilla essence 

Mix the butter with the hand mixing for about 5 minutes. 

Slowly add the sugar and keep mixing.  

Add the heavy cream and the vanilla and mix for an additional of 3 minutes 



Now it's up to you to decorate it and cut it. 

Mine was not even, but it was super delicious! That's what matters right? 

Enjoy it with a nice cup of coffee, or maybe an English Tea, and that why you'll get yourself all the way to London!  :D 





Chocolate Mousse Cake

Chocolate Mousse Cake topped with Ferreo Rocher and hazelnuts

The first thing is we prepare the chocolate pastry cream and then we let cool down. 

After that we make the fondant chocolate cake. we set that aside and let cool as well. 

Then we finish completing the mousse or chocolate filling. 

Let's start:

For the chocolate pastry cream, you will need

 

Ingredients:

2 cups milk

2/3 cup sugar

1/4 cup corn-starch

1 tbsp cocoa powder

2 eggs

120g semisweet chocolate

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp salt

3/4 cup butter, room temperature

 

Directions:

Place milk in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.

 Meanwhile whisk the eggs with sugar and salt until well combined.

Add cocoa powder and corn-starch and mix to combine.

Gradually add milk into the egg mixture and return to heat.

Cook stirring constantly until it boils and thickens. Remove from heat and add chocolate and stir until completely melted.

Pour the cream into a clean bowl, cover with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface of the pastry cream to prevent forming a skin on the surface. Let cool to room temperature.


 

For the chocolate fondant cake, you will need

 

Ingredient:

 2 cups sugar

 1 ¾ cups flour

 ¾ cup cocoa powder

 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda

 1 teaspoon salt

 2 eggs

 1 cup milk

 ½ cup vegetable oil or butter

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup boiling water


Directions:

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Grease and flour two pans.

In a large bowl, stir together the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla, mix for 2 minutes on medium speed of mixer. Stir in the boiling water last. Batter will be thin. Pour evenly into the prepared pans.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until the cake tests done with a toothpick. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.

 

Now that we have the cake and the chocolate filling or mousse ready all that we need to do is to decorate and this is entirely up to you.

For me, I have melted chocolate on top with Ferrero Rocher chocolate and hazelnut.

طريقة التحضير

 

نخلطو الفرينة و الماء مع رشة ملح بال-fouet

بعديك نحت الخليط عل غاز و نقعدو نحركو لين تبدا تولي كيف العصيدة ،

ناخذو المغرفة اللوح ونبداو نعصدو

وقتلي تبدا العصيدة تبقبق نطفيو الغاز ونحطها ف صحن التقديم

نزيدها زبدة أو زيت زيتونة حسب الرغبة ونزينها على كيفنا

Banana Oatmeal and chocolate Chips Cookies



Hello Beautiful People! 

 

Now that covid-19 is still going, I thought it would be great time to try to eat healthy. 
So here is the recipe for Banana Oatmeal Cookies. 
It's a very quick and simple recipe. You can add more ingredients if you want such as raisin or any other dried fruit. 
 



I've added chocolate chips, because my baby daughter loves chocolate.
I mean who doesn't:D




So, here are Ingredients:


 

2 bananas

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla essence

1/2 cup of flour

1/2 quick oat

1 tsp baking powder

& Chocolate chips (optional)


This is how you do it :


In one bowl mix all the dry ingredients


In a second bowl smash the banana using a fork and then add egg and vanilla essence

Combine together


I used ice cream scoop to grab the mixture and put it on the cooking sheet.

A spoon would work as well


Bake for about 15 to 20mn in 180C°




It's best to consume the cookies within the first 24h, but If you'd like to store them, I suggest you put them somewhere cool. 

Chocolate Marble Cake

Chocolate Marble Cake


For World chocolate Day I made Marble cake 

Ingredients

225g butter, softened

225g caster sugar

4 eggs

225g self-raising flour

3 tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp cocoa powder 

Method

 

Heat oven to 180C

Grease your cake tin

If you want to make life easy, simply put all the ingredients (except the cocoa powder) into a food processor and whizz for 1-2 mins until smooth.

If you prefer to mix by hand, beat the butter and sugar together, then add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold through the flour, milk and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.

Divide the mixture between 2 bowls. Stir the cocoa powder into the mixture in one of the bowls.

Take 2 spoons and use them to dollop the chocolate and vanilla cake mixes into the tin alternately.


When all the mixture has been used up tap the bottom on your work surface to ensure that there aren’t any air bubbles. Take a skewer and swirl it around the mixture in the tin a few times to create a marbled effect.

Sablé aux Confiture

Sablé aux confiture 

Ces Sablés sont probablement les plus rapides et faciles à faire.

Parfait avec du thé ou citronade, sans mentionner à quel point il sont délicieux Miammm! 




Pour la pâte 

 

200g de farine

150g de beurre, coupé en petits cubes

100g de sucre glace

Pincée de sel

 

Comment le faire

 

Préchauffez le four à 180C

Mélangez la farine, le beurre et le sucre jusqu'à ce que vous ayez la texture de la chapelure. Cela peut être fait à la main du bout des doigts ou dans un robot culinaire

Ajouter le sel et mélanger les jaunes d'oeufs et pétrir dans une pâte.

Étalez la pâte sur une surface farinée à une épaisseur de ½ cm et étalez les biscuits avec un emporte-pièce de 5 cm. Placer les biscuits sur une plaque à pâtisserie antiadhésive, espacés de 2 cm, et cuire au four environ 20 minutes, jusqu'à ce qu'ils commencent juste à dorer.



Pour les decorer j'ai utiliser du confiture et sucre glace.

Pistachio Layer Cake

Pistachio layered cake.

It's never enough 


And the cream, yummm it melts in your mouth like crazy. You will probably be like Homer Simpsons when eating donuts, if you have a bite of this. 

It's actually one of my favourite recipes. I had it from my beloved Father in law, his cakes are the best! 

I made the same recipie for my birthday and my mum's birthday, however I have made few changes on my own. 

It's such an easy recipe and it doesn't consume much time.

This is probably going to be your everyday to go recipe. 

Let's have a look together on how to get it done. 

What you will need for this recipe: 

  • 350g caster sugar 
  • 350g butter
  • 350g self raising flour
  • 6 Eggs 
  • Bag of nuts
  • 4 tbs of instant coffee. 

 

The butter will be enough for 2 round (23cm) or 2 loaf cakes.

You can use any type of nuts, I tired it with walnuts and pistachio, It was amazing for both! 

What you need to do the batter:

  1. Mix the coffee in cup with a little bit of hot water and leave it to cool down.
  2. Preheat the oven 180C°.
  3. With the electric whisk, mix the butter and suger. Once you have a nice creamy mixture add the eggs one by one. 
  4. Pour in the flour and mix together, ( in case you're using all purpose flour, make sure to siff in the flour and 4 tsp of baking powder together) .
  5. Add the coffee mix and then the nuts and mix them all together.  
  6. Pour in the mix in 2 tins, Place them in the oven for about 30 to 40mn 




What you will need for butter cream: 
  • 300g butter
  • 600g icing sugar 
  • aroma or coffee mix 
  • 1tsp of heavy cream. 
What you will need to do for the butter cream: 
  1. Mix the butter and sugar together using an electric whisk  
  2. Add heavy cream after 5 minute of mixing.
  3. Once you have your butter ready add the coffee or aroma and mix again.

In the end, you have your cake ready, you butter cream done, all that you need to do now is decorate it as you desire. 

I have also made tiny cakes

Gâteau à la pistache

Gâteau à la pistache.

Un vrai delice! Et la crème, miam.. 



 

C'est en fait l'une de mes recettes préférées. Je l'ai eu de mon beau-père bien-aimé, ses gâteaux sont les meilleurs!

 

J'ai fait la même recette pour mon anniversaire et l'anniversaire de ma mère avec des petits changements.

C'est une recette si simple et elle ne prend pas beaucoup de temps

 

Ce sera probablement votre recette de tous les jours.




Voyons ensemble comment faire,

Pour la Gâteau on a besoin de: 

 

  • 350g de sucre
  • 350g de beurre
  • 350g de farine auto-levante
  • 6 œufs
  • Noix au choix 
  • 4 càs de café instantané 
La pâte sera suffisante pour 2 gâteaux ronds (23 cm) ou 2 gâteau pain.

Vous pouvez utiliser n'importe quel type de noix, je l'ai essayé avec des noix et de la pistache, c'était incroyable pour les deux! 

  1. Mélanger le café dans une tasse avec un peu d'eau chaude et laisser refroidir.
  2. Préchauffez le four à 180C °
  3. Avec le fouet électrique, mélanger le beurre et le sucre. Une fois que vous avez un bon mélange crémeux, ajoutez les œufs un par un.
  4. Versez la farine et mélangez ensemble (au cas où vous utilisez de la farine tout usage, assurez-vous de mélanger la farine et 4 cuillères à café de levure chimique ensemble).
  5. Ajouter le mélange de café, puis les noix et les mélanger tous ensemble.
  6. Verser le mélange dans 2 moules, les mettre au four environ 30 à 40mn

Pour la crème au beurre:
  • 300g de beurre
  • 600g sucre glace
  • arôme ou mélange de café
  • 1 cuillère à café de crème épaisse.
Mélanger le café dans une tasse avec un peu d'eau chaude et laisser refroidir en cas ou vous allez utiliser café. 

  1. Mélanger le beurre et le sucre à l'aide d'un fouet électrique
  2. Ajouter la crème épaisse
  3. Une fois votre beurre prêt, ajoutez le café ou l'arôme et mélangez à nouveau pour 2 minutes. 
Maintenant que votre gâteau est prêt, votre crème au beurre terminée, il ne vous reste plus qu'à la décorer à votre goût.



J'ai aussi fait de petits gâteaux
